Student Engagement Beyond the Classroom

Student engagement has a profound influence on student learning. Conducting teaching and learning remotely during COVID-19 has posed extraordinary challenges for students and higher education institutions. Creating supportive student communities has been shown to be vitally important for achieving successful student outcomes.

During this webinar a panel of experienced educators will discuss how they have effectively tackled issues relating to student engagement, particularly related to online teaching. They will also look at how the Widening Participation agenda fits within this picture. The speakers will give real life examples and offer insights on how to adopt these teaching practices for your course. Join us for an opportunity to reflect and learn. There will also be time for you to put questions to the panel.
