Caribbean Perspectives on Occupational Therapy in the United Kingdom is a groundbreaking resource offering occupational therapists practical tools and guidance for delivering culturally informed care to Caribbean communities. Led by a team of eight editors, this collection brings together occupational therapists of Caribbean heritage working across the profession. About the Editors
Jennie Alexander is an occupational therapist in private practice, specialising in pain management and managing work stress, based in Greater London, UK.
Leah Berry is the former Head of Occupational Therapy at Birmingham Women and Children’s NHS Trust.
Lesley Garcia is the Founding Programme Director of the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Southern Caribbean and the Founding Chair of the Trinidad and Tobago Occupational Therapy Association.
Sherlyn Melody Graham is a community occupational therapist with Hertfordshire County Council.
Kalimah Ibrahiim is an Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Public Health Cluster Lead, and Programme Leader for the Occupational Therapy programmes at Buckinghamshire New University in the College of Health and Society, UK.
Lily Owens-Atkins is a lecturer in Occupational Therapy at Swansea University. Lily specializes in critical socio-anthropological perspectives in occupational therapy and education.
Odeth Richardson is Chair of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and Head Occupational Therapist at Newcastle NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Blaine Robin is a Research Associate of Epistemic Exclusion and Patient Safety Participation Evaluation (EPSPE) at King’s College London. Blaine is a founding member of the Caribbean Writers Network.
