No matter how your course is being delivered, in-person, blended/hybrid or completely online, McGraw Hill is here to help support you and your students. As well-being and student success challenges have been on the rise for years now, we have been trying to do our part to help ease the impact of these challenges. Over the past year we have delivered and developed a number of educational webinars and resources to support improved well being for students and instructors, increased retention rates for students and help instructors deliver more successful outcomes, and are continuously looking for new ways to develop tools to overcome these challenges.

In 2020, we started our partnership with The Jed Foundation (JED), a nonprofit organization that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for students and young adults. Read more about our partnership with JED here. McGraw Hill continues our commitment to helping faculty and students throughout the pandemic. We are now providing free Connect Student Success and Well-Being Modules in every Connect product to help address learning loss and the emotional health of students.

Connect Well-Being Modules, in partnership with The Jed Foundation provide free* assignable content on Getting and Giving Help, Taking Care of Yourself, Emotional Awareness, and Resilience.

Connect Student Success Modules, provide instructors free assignable preparatory content on basic university skills, such as time management, goal setting, test taking, communication, and diversity along with content on the Writing Process and Critical Reading Skills.

  • Self-Assessment Managing Your Time

During the Pandemic, we had to handle a lot of new and difficult situations, especially when it came to education with remote studying and learning. When studying online, it is difficult to concentrate and keep motivated for most people. I overcame these challenges with help from a very simple tool, that tool is called ‘meditation.’
